About Communityfrequent Septic, a Septic and Sewer Referral Service

Who We Are

Communityfrequent Septic is a referral service. We help homeowners in Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake City area reach independent septic and sewer providers. That is the whole job. We are not a contractor, and we do not send out trucks or crews.

Why This Service Exists

Septic and sewer trouble tends to show up at a bad time. A slow drain, a gurgling toilet or a soggy yard raises two questions fast: who do I call, and what will it cost? We built Communityfrequent Septic around the second question as much as the first. A homeowner who understands the price drivers can plan better and avoid rushed choices.

How Providers Are Matched

You send a request or request a callback to check provider availability. We look at what you need and where you live. Then we point you to an independent provider in the network who handles that kind of work in your area. Availability depends on the provider and the season, so we do not promise timing.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

  • Explain the problem in plain words
  • Give a written quote before major work starts
  • Be clear about what is and is not included
  • Treat the home and yard with care

Licensing and insurance rules differ by area, so ask each provider about their own credentials.

Why Seasons Matter to Your Budget

Heavy snow loads, frozen ground and a fast spring melt all change how septic and sewer systems behave. Hail and dry, sunny stretches affect the work schedule too. Routine jobs like septic tank pumping often cost less in a calm period than during an emergency septic cleaning in the middle of a thaw. Plan with the seasons when you can.

Protecting the Home

Sound septic and sewer work helps protect the home and its resale value. A failed drainfield or a leaking sewer line can damage a basement, a yard and a sale. Keeping records of pumping and repairs also gives future buyers something solid to read.

What We Do Not Do

We do not perform repairs, set prices or hold licenses on behalf of providers. We do not decide your insurance coverage. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How We Are Paid

Homeowners do not pay Communityfrequent Septic to be matched. Providers in the network may pay for referrals. You pay the provider for the work they do, at the price in your written quote.
